While in Hong Kong, I was definitely never short of (over)indulging in mind-blowing food. Hong Kong also boasts of hundreds of Michelin restaurants, but the beautiful culinary experience at Amber was particularly special because it's where my sister treated me for our date. :)
Multiple amuse-bouche of the day: adorable foie gras lollipops, crab eggrolls, and pork croquette. Plus, let's not overlook the cute cone-shaped butter.
Gorgeous starter: duck foie gras dipped in red cabbage bouillon, Pink Lady apple purée, and dried apple bread roll.
Mouthwatering main course: pigeon breast with foie gras on toast, and crispy pigeon leg over roasted salsify with cooked Granny Smith apple.
Dessert: chestnut mille-feuille with coffee.
Sweet treats courtesy of Amber: chocolate covered coconut ice cream lollipops, and a tin of goodies ranging from fluffy marshmallows to tiny macarons. Sweetest part: 3-hour lunch with the sis. ♥
It's all so tiny! Beautiful presentation.
