Bestia - Los Angeles, CA

Because I saw too many uni spaghetti pictures on Instagram, we had to come to Bestia when we were in LA. And yes, there will be that famous uni spaghetti in this post, and it was everything I hoped for and more.

Creamy roasted bone marrow on top of spinach gnocchetti, which was so unique! You scrap the marrow and mix it into the pasta to create a rich bite.

Chicken liver crostino, which will turn you onto chicken liver even if you thought you were all about foie gras.

Can never go wrong with a juicy, burrata pizza topped with olives, oregano, and fermented chilies.

Here it is! The dreamy uni spaghetti. I need this at least weekly.

Finished the meal with crème fraîche panna cotta with honey and strawberries.

Hope you have a fun weekend!

  1. When you come back to LA you MUST try EMC Seafood's Uni Spaghetti. It was my first uni pasta experience and no other restaurant has overtaken that spot so far, not even Bestia.

    2. No, not even Bestia. You can really taste the Uni, too. Also, if you haven't tried it, I would definitely recommend Son of a Gun in LA as well.

  4. This post is my introduction to uni spaghetti, but now my interest is so piqued. I'm glad you tried the bone marrow! I've had it once and it is delicious. I was also surprised by its creamy elegance.
