Most of our summer weekends are booked with weddings and related festivities, which are fun times to dress up and celebrate the ones you love who are in love. I bought this dress with these upcoming events in mind, and recently wore it to a friend's bridal shower. Since the fit of the dress is form-fitting, I liked that the neck and hemlines are modest.
Here are 3 tips for What to Wear to a Bridal Shower:
- Look for classic dress shapes like a-line, shift, and wrap, rather than mini or bodycon. You can also pair a top with a fun skirt.
- Unless you're the bride, consider wearing a different color than white, such as mint, cobalt blue, peach, or florals.
- Since it's not the Bachelorette Party, avoid severe cutouts, plunging necklines, or anything common sense tells you is better off for a night of clubbing.
