Black and White

A.L.C. chunky knit crop tank top (on sale!)
Chanel wallet on chain
Christian Louboutin "Half d'Orsay" pumps

I wore this outfit to the Nordstrom Designer Preview (post here). Before deciding, I posted two outfit options on Instagram to get another opinion about which I should wear. About 80% of commenters totally preferred the other option. Someone called this outfit "grandma-ish" and one of my girlfriends said it was "basic" lol. I do appreciate all of your honesty.

At the end of the day, I guess I just went with what makes me feel most comfortable in my skin. While a crop top, 4-inch heels, and a body-hugging skirt are by no means "comfortable," what I mean is that this outfit felt very "me." Dress to impress, sure, but mostly yourself!

What's your thought process when getting dressed up?
