The Sweet Life in Hana, Hawaii

Dolce Vita embroidered dress
Zara leather sandals (similar)
Forever 21 straw hat (similar)

While I'm back to reality and work (and rainy weather - thanks Seattle fall), I still have a few more posts from our trip to Maui. These photos were taken during the Road to Hana. The roads are treacherous and sometimes one-laned, but if you don't get carsick, then the drive to Hana is a fun adventure! Husband and I rented a Jeep Wrangler and had the top down as we cruised around the entire island. The views were incredible, and we hiked the Bamboo Forest and the Seven Sacred Pools along the way. We bought coconut candy at stands, which gave us a sweet boost for the long drive. Check this post for more of my food guide to Maui!

  21. I LOVE the bamboo forest on the Pipiwai trail! But I agree, that drive is treacherous. I mean, the first part of the Road to Hana isn't that bad at all. Once you get passed Hana towards that hike is where I swear I thought it was way toooo treacherous. No words can describe it! Because we were dreading the drive back (and we were trying to make it back to Kapalua before sunset), we couldn't get to do the Seven Sacred Pools. Maybe next time (if I'm up for that drive though haha)!
