Girls Weekend @ Hyatt Regency Bellevue

Last weekend, my best friend and I were treated to a staycation at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, WA and had the BEST time! We went wine tasting, hung out in a bubble bath, and brunched it up. With Mother's Day coming up, I totally recommend booking an evening away with your mom or another beloved woman in your life as a great way to spend quality time together.

Stay: Hyatt Regency Bellevue
Hyatt Regency Bellevue is spacious and gorgeous, with calming, Japanese-inspired decor in the main lobby. The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Bellevue, and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. (We were excited that parking is free during the weekends too!) Bestie and I got hooked up in the Chairman Suite, and you can bet there were shrieks of excitement as we explored the huge room and beautiful view.

Do: Woodinville Wine Tasting Tour
They arranged a wine tour with the Woodinville Wine Country Passport (makes for an amazing gift!). We took an Uber out to Woodinville ($25 for the 20-minute ride) and got to work visiting a bunch of wineries and stamping our Wine Passports. We spent hours there and still have 60+ wineries left to check off -- so we've got lots of fun weekends ahead this summer!

Relax: Facial Masks, Bubble Bath, and Tea
We stopped by Bellevue Square Mall on the way back from the wineries and picked up a couple rose bath bombs from Lush. The Hyatt hospitality team left us a charcuterie plate, cupcakes, and Perrier upon our return -- so sweet! We slathered on face masks, filled up the tub, and popped in the bath bombs, which turned the water into bubbly, shimmery, pink, and rose-scented magic. The tub was so massive, and we threw on swimsuits and soaked for hours while snacking and listening to Zayn.

Dine: Eques Brunch Buffet
The next morning, we woke up and went downstairs to Eques for brunch, located inside the Hyatt. I opted for the brunch buffet, which was so fun. There is a genius Bloody Mary bar! There are also platters of local cheeses and cured meats, lox with bagels, green tea pancakes, Greek yogurt parfaits with fresh berries, an omelet station, and on and on. I totally recommend Eques for Mother's Day brunch!

Thank you to the Hyatt Regency Bellevue for the best weekend with the Bestie!

  1. Whenever I'm in Seattle, it's usually with my family and for a longer period of time, so we usually stay at Hyatt House (Redmond). Anyways, the Hyatt Regency's main lounge is so beautiful! And an evening of baths and desserts sounds absolutely luxurious and relaxing :) The waffles looks SO delicious!!! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
