For the past 10 days, we've been on a road trip in the northeast region of America. We started in Maine, then worked our way to New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. I'm posting a little out of order here, since Cape Cod is in MA, but oh well!

Cape Cod is so picturesque and quaint - it's exactly as I had imagined. About a month ago, we were in Hawaii, and the beaches there could not be more different, but each place has its own beauty. In Cape Cod, we stayed in a town called Harwich at a beachside inn. On this particular day, we lounged on the porch rocking chairs in the morning and watched the sun eventually brighten up the gray dawn. We then made our way to the beach chairs, maneuvering across the powdery sand while carefully dodging tons of shells. Though slightly overcast, the air was warm and humid, and after a peaceful hour by the sea, we headed back inside to cool down.
