Spring Uniform: Stripes & Denim

The number of times I've worn some sort of stripes and denim combo is countless... We could safely say that this look is one of very few that truly never go out of style, which is why it makes the perfect spring uniform for when you want to look effortlessly chic.

I've been living in this striped top and boyfriend jeans (size down) from AG almost everyday for the past couple weeks -- once I get off work, I change into this uniform right away (anyone else guilty of this extreme level of outfit repeating?!). I even wore this whole outfit, head to toe, three times on my recent trip to Washington D.C. I love classic pieces because those are the ones I find myself reaching for time and time again, but I also want my look to seem current. AG modernizes the silhouettes by adding bell sleeves to the top and frayed hems on these straight-leg jeans -- both styles are so on trend yet wearable beyond this season.

For my birthday (thank you all for the well wishes!), I treated myself to these red Gucci loafer mules (half size up), and they're totally worth the splurge! I find myself slipping into them for every occasion as they're just so easy and comfy to wear.
