Boyfriend made reservations everyday of Restaurant Week in Seattle. Keeper, knows that food is the way to my heart. ;) So far we've checked out Staple & Fancy Mercantile, Lecosho, Chez Shea, and Stumbling Goat. Thought I'd start off the weekend with a post on the desserts we had, hope you all have a sweet Friday!
Ricotta cheesecake with raspberry honey. Ricotta makes the texture fluffier and not as heavy.
Panna cotta with aged balsamic and amaretto cookie. Smooth and tangy, and amaretto is so good baked into a cookie.
Vanilla bean creme brulee. Boy let me break the caramelized sugar top because I like the cracking sound hehe.
Staple & Fancy Mercantile
The table light at Staple & Fancy Mercantile. On an unrelated note, been noticing a lot of these bulbs in bars and restaurants lately, and loving (if you can't tell by the slight excitement on my face) the retro vibe and dim lighting it gives.Ricotta cheesecake with raspberry honey. Ricotta makes the texture fluffier and not as heavy.
Panna cotta with aged balsamic and amaretto cookie. Smooth and tangy, and amaretto is so good baked into a cookie.
Lecosho
Semolina cake with citrus and whipped cream. Was supposed to be with huckleberry puree but they ran out, but I thought the citrus was delicious with the cake, really light and spring-y.
Chez Shea
Pineapple basil sorbet. At first tasted straight up like pureed basil, but then the flavor blended with the pineapple and was refreshing.Vanilla bean creme brulee. Boy let me break the caramelized sugar top because I like the cracking sound hehe.
Stumbling Goat
Carrot hazelnut brown butter cake cream cheese frosting with cinnamon and caramel.
Brown sugar panna cotta with rhubarb compote. Yummm been having very good luck with panna cotta this week.
