A couple months ago, Husband and I traveled to Victoria, BC for a weekend getaway. Of course, I wanted to do the quintessential Sunday activity in Victoria: high tea. Being from Hong Kong, I'm accustomed to having afternoon tea with my mom and sister. Even in the US, I'll get afternoon tea with girlfriends once in a while, but I miss the tradition.

We went to the classic Fairmont Empress for high tea in Victoria. The space was so elegant, and there was an incredible selection of teas. I especially loved the scones with clotted cream (definitely could have eaten a dozen). Though I would say, I enjoy going to high tea with my girls because we can catch up for hours over tea and little treats. I went with my Husband and he ate his whole platter in like three bites and was basically ready to eat more substantially after haha.
